Or can I just make say 2 of each type of meal & then repeat it through out the week.
Making each meal exactly as it is listed for 14 days would make a really long grocery list and I want to save some money by making say 3 portions of one recipe and repeating it during the week.
Any comments and info welcome. Thanks.

Personally I am very wary of diet plans that are not for a specific person. Whoever invented the South Beach Diet doesn’t know you and your exact life situation. So how can a cookie-cutter diet work for you? What you should do is get in touch with a certified dietitian/nutritionist who can help you figure out a meal plan that works for you. There is a really great service that pairs people with nutritionists online. Everything is done online and there is only a 1 time fee. You get meal plans and a real, certified nutritionist to help you figure out a healthy diet (and lifestyle) that works for you. You should check it out at: www.yourrealdiet.com

and then the following month (with diet or not diet, breastfreeding or not).
How big was your belly when you left the hospital compared to when you were pregnant? I watch some the TV Shows (TLC Bring Baby Home) and a lot of ladies don’t look that different when they are home right after giving birth compared when they were 40 weeks pregnant.

Thanks all!

Everyone’s body is different.

I had a c-section and left the hospital weighing the same as when I went in (due to all the fluid they dumped in me through the iv) and looked about as big as I had at 7 months pregnant. I breastfed and pumped with formula supplement, and because of c-section I couldn’t exercise for like 6 weeks. I’d say at sometime within the first month I lost about 20 lbs and by 6 months I’d lost all I’d gained in pregnancy although I still had a bit more of a belly than before so I must have lost weight elsewhere.

I have a friend, however, who has 2 children. Both times, she delivered naturally (vs c-section) and both times she left the hospital looking like she’s never been pregnant in her life, wearing her old size 3 jeans, no flab, nothing. (i was so jealous!!)

My friend is of course the exception, most women are not so lucky but I think that most do bounce back a bit faster than I did. Also, if you are able to have the baby naturally, I think your uterus goes back to size a bit faster, I’ve heard they can give you something to hurry that up (potosin?) which they can not give you after a section because of the stitches.

I want to go on the South Beach Diet but i dont know how to tell my mother, considering shes one who buys my food and cooks it. I also want to go to gym, but i dont know how to ask her if i can, cause im kind of fearing her response. What should i do?

Well… that depends on how old you are, and how open minded your mom is. I told my mom when I was 12 that I wanted to be a vegetarian and she told me I was crazy. Guess what… I’m 23 and I don’t eat red meat, pork, or chicken except on very special occasions. The south beach diet is not for everyone, and it’s very strict… unless you’re pear shapped I wouldn’t recommend carb restriction.

Try a search for "2800 calorie diet menues" and see what you get or try a search for "2800 calorie diets" without the word "menues". If these searches fail try the same searches but replace 2800 with 2500 or 3000.

Actually 2800 calories seems very high for a "diet" and such a calorie intake would not normally be regarded as a "diet". Perhaps you should try the above searches without the word "diet", ie try a search for "2800 (OR 2500 OR 3000) calorie menues". The vast majority of diets consist of less than 2000 calories.

Im considering doing this diet for like 4-6 weeks but I want to know has anyone been on it and how much weight have you lost through it.

Thats retarded!
