ok im 29 5′7 and 245 pounds. is this a good diet menu?
breakfast: 3 egg whites, whole wheat toast with peanut butter and green tea
snack: celery with peanut butter
lunch: chicken salad or turkey pita
dinner: grilled chicken and boiled red potatoes and green beans
what do you guys think? should i add or take something out?
You should add a lot(fruit & variety). Besides that, everything is pretty good.
Some foods actually promote weight loss, and there is a huge difference between good & bad fats, good & bad cholesterol and good & bad carbohydrates.
In my case, throughout the week my diet consists of only these items, 1% fat milk, organic(complex carb.) cereal, banana, orange juice, hard boiled egg whites, hummus(chick peas), whole wheat toast, apple, whole wheat wraps, tuna, grilled chicken, celery, onions, different peppers(some have high sodium), mixed greens lettuce, scallions, natural peanut butter, whole wheat crackers, Mixed berries(blueberry, blackberry, rasberry), spinach, fat free yogurt, cucumbers, tomatoes, parsley, raw carrots, raw broccoli, ginger, garlic, black beans, brown rice, sunflower seeds, almonds, walnuts, any other fruits or veggies, lemon juice is good, kiwi, grapefruit (excellent for weight loss), olive oil, salmon, good cuts of steak(twice a month), some green tea and whey protein post workout.
Mixing it up is the best diet…its affordable if your smart about it.
Snacking or meals…which form of dieting is more apt to create weight loss?
How many meals a day are optimal?
What should snacks between meals consist of (protein, carbs), fruits/veggies?
I feel stupid when I make some sort of healthy (veggie) wrap and cut it into fourths…it’s like what’s the point in eating that?
I am not going to join Jenny raig to lose less than ten pounds. They don’t seem to encourage healthy eating. I’m a vegetarian. No frozen boxed dinners for me!
Divide your day into 6 eats. Carb heavy early in the day ending with protein and light snacks like apple at night. There are countless items you can eat and impossible to list it all here.
For a sample:
Breakfast: Two egg white omlette with 1 slice whole grain bread.
Between BF & Lunch: OJ or juicy fruits
Lunch: Green salad with grilled chicken (refrain from dressings instead use lemon & salt & pepper).
Late Afternoon: Dry Fruits or Banana
Early Dinner:Grilled Turkey or Roast Beef Sandwich (no mayo please)
2 hours before bed: An apple.
The basic idea is to make it all flat instead of big meals. Also distribute all proteins & carbohydrates & vitamins throughout the day.
Ooops… Did I mention exercise? Daily 30 minute routine is enough.
I have to do a project for school, and I need to include a specific meal plan for this diet.
Here are two guidelines that I follow while I’m on this diet.
1. Incorporate "super foods" into your meal plan on a daily basis. Some examples are salmon, low-fat plain yogurt, tomatoes, spinach, mixed berries, whole oats, mixed nuts, green tean and various beans.
2.Eat 5-10 servings of fruits and vegetables each day. They will help you meet your micro-nutrient needs for the day. And since they are a good source of fiber, they help you curb your appetite and control hunger.

i want to know what is a good diet to go along with hydroxycut hardcore?
A diet high in protein will help you retain lean muscle while taking Hydroxycut, I usually eat 3 small meals during the day and protein shakes in between them -so that I won’t feel hungry. This pill accelerates your metabolism and increases your energy so make sure you are drinking plenty of water.

“It’s the easiest plan to stick with by far,” Holly says. She has many favorites on the plan, including the Lasagna, Cheesy Penne Pasta and Chicken Vesuvio, but as she says, “It’s all really good, I eat everything that’s available, I just cycle through all of the meals! The list of what I like far outweighs the list of what I don’t!” Best of all, she loves that each meal is well-balanced and perfectly portioned — it’s one less thing she has to think about while trying to balance full-time school, studying, workouts and family time!
